We are delighted to announce that HH Moonwalk (owned by JC & Lexi Hambro and ¼ by May-Britt Wedd) won the British Eventing 7YO Young Horse Championship 2020 at ‘Osberton At Thoresby International’.
Olaf produced a neat dressage test to score 26, which was the second highest mark in the class. The show jumping caused a lot of problems with deep, sticky ground and many horses had fences down. Only eight out of forty two combinations went clear. Olaf and Tom jumped a beautiful clear round moving into first place, this followed by a clear cross country to win the title.
Needless to say that we were ecstatic with the result. Due to COVID Tom and Olaf did not qualify in time for the 7YO World Championship in Le Lion- d’Angers but we are so very excited for the start of the 2021 season to see their special partnership grow.
